Summary

  • document an explicitly optional Parallel Search server for Whale's existing Streamable HTTP MCP configuration
  • clarify that the endpoint requires no API key or account
  • disclose that user-provided search objectives, search queries, and requested URLs are sent to Parallel

Validation

  • make test
  • focused docs checks: parsed the exact JSON example and verified the authenticated remote example, MCP token header, and ACP guidance remain present
  • manual CLI/TUI check
  • git diff --check
  • verified docs/mcp.en.md is the only changed path

User-visible impact

Users who choose to add the server now have a copyable, credential-free Parallel Search MCP example. User-provided search objectives, search queries, and requested URLs are sent to Parallel. Existing MCP examples, authentication guidance, providers, defaults, and settings are unchanged.

Breaking changes

none

Notes

This is a documentation-only addition and does not select or enable a server by default.

Disclosure: I work at Parallel.ai, which operates this MCP endpoint.
