Testing the changes

• I tested the changes in this PR: briefly

Opened a few GPX & KMZ files, both routes & tracks. Also tested changing the background maps.

Local build testing

• I built this PR locally for my native architecture, (x86_64-musl)
• I built this PR locally for these architectures (if supported. mark crossbuilds):
  • aarch64 (crossbuild, had to rebuild libxcb first)

Your release rythm is impressive, BTW.

I will not follow it at every release, I'll just update the void package once in while, to avoid bothering the distro maintainers too often.

That's fine, it is the distributions choice how often they want to update a package and/or how "bleeding edge" they want to be. The GPXSee updates are small & often rather than huge & rare as there is practically no QA except of the users and this prevents breaking too much stuff at once with an update.
