PWA dashboard for monitoring and controlling the mist-controller ESP8266 device (temperature, humidity, mist/LED relay status).
Live dashboard: https://volskyi.github.io/mist-controller-dashboard/
- Live temperature/humidity readings, RSSI, online/offline status
- 24h high/low and a "last 60 min" sparkline (1-point/min resolution, hover for crosshair+tooltip)
- Mist relay control: on / off / auto (auto = maintain a target humidity)
- LED relay control: on / off / auto (auto = follow a 4-slot daily schedule, editable in-app)
- Installable as a PWA (add to home screen); service worker uses network-first caching so updates show without a manual cache clear
Plain static site (index.html + app.js + mqtt.min.js, no build step). Connects directly from the browser over MQTT-over-WebSockets (WSS) to a HiveMQ Cloud broker:
- Host:
35902b51ff004900a09ea8c4c2875495.s1.eu.hivemq.cloud, port8884, path/mqtt - On first load it prompts for the MQTT username/password (same credentials the firmware uses to connect); these are then cached in the browser's
localStorage(mist_user/mist_pass) so you're not asked again on that device - All app state comes from retained MQTT topics published by the firmware — see the mist-controller README for the full topic reference
Static site served via GitHub Pages from main branch, root path — pushing to main deploys automatically.
