The root repository lacked the formatting checks used by the wwwallet submodules. This adds equivalent local and CI checks.

  • Add EditorConfig and Git line-ending rules.
  • Pin the native EditorConfig checker to v4.0.2 in pre-commit and CI.
  • Share checker exclusions for dependencies, generated files and submodules while keeping E2E sources checked.
  • Fix existing whitespace, indentation and final-newline violations.
  • Document hook installation and local checks.
