Within each default rule's chain (vendors with a key first, as before), models are ordered by the lowest effort they serve, highest first. With OpenAI: medium and high try gpt-4o before gpt-4o-mini; with every vendor, high starts gemini-2.5-pro, claude-sonnet-5-5, gpt-4o. Low and the catch-all are unchanged. Applies to the auto-seed and ktms init; seeded Keystones keep their rules.
