Selecting a compute family can now execute a bounded Rust model whose operands, queues and results drive the visualization. CPU, GPU and tensor modes calculate the same user-supplied 8 × 8 matrix operation. The switch model preserves packet identities while users block destinations or change FIFO to VOQ.
This is PR 2 of the new silicon/brain stack, based on #4. It supplies the numerical models, Wasm API and shared renderer support; the following PR adds the interactive interface. It contains none of the rejected PRs #1–#3. Please review without merging until the full experience is approved.
The models use explicitly declared educational ticks. They do not emulate the selected commercial SKU or predict its clock rate, throughput, energy, or biological equivalence. Vendor facts remain separate reference data.
Validation: 29 Rust tests; core Clippy with warnings denied; Wasm compilation; 258 assertions against the generated Wasm including invalid JavaScript numbers, atomic rejection, independent matrix results, traffic differences, conservation and deterministic replay. Existing brain browser suite passed all 13 groups against the changed renderer. New explorer passed WebGPU and WebGL checks during integration. Gitleaks found no secrets in the Rust tree. A separate agent reviewed the numerical models and Wasm boundary; review findings were corrected before this commit.
