Hardware Variants
Expanding the hardware that Pico-Timecode supports, this time the ability to display the current Timecode on a pair of I2C LED modules to form a Digi-Slate. Switches detect when the slate is 'clapped' and/or rotated (for tail slating).

The pico_slate.py script uses a full size Pico with the 'Rev-1' board, or can be run on a 'naked' Pico to demo it.
NOTE: The 7-segment code is now included (v3.2 and above) within the 'PT Thrifty' code... and enabled via the libs/config.py file.
A video demo of the PT-Thrifty 'digi-slate':
Even lower cost that the original Pico based board, PT-Thrify is based around the WaveShare RP2040_Zero board and has a minimal UI of just one button and one LED. More details here.
We also have a 'New Timer' mechanism which is more reliable than using timers after the PIOs cause interrupts. Expect a new release towards the end of summer....
"Two turntables resistors and a microphone -controller."
Low cost to the extreme! You'd be much better off building a PT-Thrifty, but the same code can be (ab)used to run on a 'naked' Pi Pico to output LTC (via the resistors) and MTC (via the USB port).

There is a future where I use a RP2350-Touch-LCD-2, I have prototyped some hardware but not yet done any software for it... RP2350-Touch-LCD-2
