✨ Add AgentConfiguration to KlusterletSpec - #462
openshift-merge-bot[bot] merged 1 commit into
Conversation
Add an optional agentConfiguration.bindConfiguration to the Klusterlet spec so the health probe port, metrics port and host networking of the klusterlet agents can be configured. This avoids port conflicts on the node when the agents run with hostNetwork. The structure mirrors the BindConfiguration used by ClusterManager webhooks. Summary
Add an optional
agentConfigurationfield toKlusterletSpecso the klusterlet agents' health probe port, metrics port and host networking can be configured. Today the health check port is hardcoded to 8443, so agents running withhostNetwork: truefail to start when that port is already in use on the node. The structure mirrors
BindConfigurationin ClusterManager's webhook configuration, as agreed in #439:Notes:
healthProbePorthas a minimum of 1024 because the agents run as non-root.metricsPorthas noomitempty, the same as ClusterManager, so0is kept and can disable metrics.A follow-up PR in open-cluster-management-io/ocm will wire these fields into the agent deployments (ocm#1032).
