Update (2026-09-16)

  • Rebased onto CLI dev at ef689f8; no conflicts.
  • @polymorfa/sdk is now pinned to github:polymorfa/sdks#0eeae656e129907fa0b6b87f7c2199279530f22a, the rebased head of feat(sdk): add typed BanSafe Health resources sdks#8 (contract aca849c). docs/development/bansafe-sdk-integration.md records the same pin and Platform snapshot hash.
  • npm run verify passes: 280 tests, pack, and audit.

Adds 23 polymorfa bansafe commands covering all 25 Platform BanSafe operations in the typed SDK. With an organization server API key, you can inspect Health, Health history, signals, telemetry, collection, Health actions, findings, enforcement, incidents, and claims; report and retract customer incidents; and view or update Safe Mode (project or session), warm-up, Ban Insurance evidence, and Health policy. Incident report/retract and settings updates require --idempotency-key. Finding acknowledgement and enforcement appeals only work from a signed-in dashboard session, so there are no CLI commands for them.

Base and dependency pin

  • Base: dev at 2dea634 (Handle prepaid billing errors with the reviewed Platform SDK #6, which sits on top of Add QuickLink onboarding and unified session configuration #7 41547aa). The branch was rebuilt as two commits on top of it:
    • b96da2d: the net BanSafe change from the old head 206260e, with the new pin.
    • 7678a99: follow-up adjustments.
  • @polymorfa/sdk is pinned to github:polymorfa/sdks#289c921793a71f52c7fa85e941f36c45fa72e653 (superseded, see update above), the then-current head of feat(sdk): add typed BanSafe Health resources sdks#8. That SDK head is reconciled against the merged API at polymorfa/polymorfa@1600403db9dcf7996dbbb882375b1165859829d3 and contains dev's previous pin 0845299. I regenerated package-lock.json with a clean install; only the SDK resolved and integrity entries changed.
  • Conflicts: 14 files conflicted: package.json, the lockfile, base-command.ts, sdk/client.ts, services/customers.ts, services/platform-management.ts, and 8 test files. The branch's changes in those files were its own adaptations to the unified SDK Client, and dev had already made the same adaptations. I kept dev's versions: Client as PlatformClient construction, QuickLink onboarding, session-configuration and testing-fixture commands, and the payment-required error handling from Handle prepaid billing errors with the reviewed Platform SDK #6. package.json keeps dev's content plus the new pin and the 14 bansafe topics.

Changes after the SDK reconciliation

  • At 1600403, claim amountCents, measuredCents, and capCents are decimal credit quantities. bansafe claim view now labels them Amount credits, Measured credits, and Cap credits, matching the README's prepaid-billing convention. A new test checks fractional output.
  • Removed updatedAt from the Health policy test fixture. The API contract does not define that field.
  • docs/development/bansafe-sdk-integration.md now records the reconciled SDK and API pins instead of the draft contract hash.
  • The SDK's new MessagingClient.banSafe (Messaging-surface settings routes) is not used here. BanSafe commands authenticate with an organization API key on the Platform surface, and the Platform routes cover the same settings.
  • No other SDK method or type used by these commands changed.

Verification (local, Node 24.15)

  • rm -rf node_modules dist && npm ci: pass.
  • npm run verify: pass.
    • format check, lint, and typecheck pass.
    • 31 test files, 280 tests passed (BanSafe: 20).
    • build passes.
    • npm pack --dry-run --ignore-scripts: 748 files.
    • npm audit --omit=dev: 0 vulnerabilities.
  • node bin/run.js bansafe --help lists all 14 BanSafe topics.
  • The installed SDK is built from the pinned commit.

Not run: Node 20 and 22 locally (GitHub CI covers them on this push), and live calls against a deployed API.

Five-part assessment

  • API: unaffected. No API change. Commands call Platform routes that exist at 1600403. The API has one open spec defect (BanSafeNumberDetail omits identity and enforcement from properties); it is described in feat(sdk): add typed BanSafe Health resources sdks#8 and does not change CLI behavior.
  • SDKs: updated in feat(sdk): add typed BanSafe Health resources sdks#8 (289c921), which this PR pins exactly. The CLI must not merge before that SDK revision is available on the branch it depends on.
  • CLI: updated. 23 commands, 14 help topics, typed services, tests, README, and the integration note.
  • Docs: CLI repo docs updated, public docs unaffected for now. Updated: README.md BanSafe section and docs/development/bansafe-sdk-integration.md. The public Mintlify site has no CLI command reference and does not document CLI BanSafe usage. A public page is needed when the CLI is released; that work belongs to polymorfa/polymorfa and is not claimed here.
  • Feature releases: unaffected, no release claimed. The CLI adds no flags or entitlement checks. The API enforces BanSafe access and entitlements, and the CLI reports its errors (for example, payment_required, exit 4). No BanSafe release record exists in internal/docs/releases/. No package publication or deployment is part of this PR.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added BanSafe CLI commands for health, telemetry, signals, collections, findings, enforcement, claims, incidents, Safe Mode, warmup, insurance evidence, and health policies.
    • Added resource viewing, listing, reporting, retracting, and updating capabilities.
    • Added pagination, filtering, project/session scoping, JSON input, idempotency keys, and structured output.
    • Added validation for command inputs and update requests.
    • Updated authentication and platform access to support organization API keys.
  • Documentation

    • Added CLI usage and integration guidance, including credentials, scoping, validation, supported operations, and verification steps.

Priority: ➖ Normal

Estimated code review effort: 4 (Complex) | ~60 minutes

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to 7c8da

The CLI is pinned to an incorrect SDK revision, and updating it without adapting platform-management wrappers breaks affected commands. Safe Mode updates also reject supported fields. Resolve these issues before merging.

Remove the default value for options in updateHealthPolicy.

Every other mutation wrapper in this file requires options: RequestOptions. Only updateHealthPolicy defaults it to {}. A caller can therefore omit the idempotency key for a health-policy write and get no compile error. Make the parameter required to keep the idempotency contract uniform.

Review resolution

Addressed four valid BanSafe findings in d4863ae:

  • documented idempotency for all settings mutations and made the Health policy flag required;
  • rendered absent telemetry snapshots as 0/0;
  • accepted and validated project onlineStart and onlineEnd values while keeping session overrides unchanged.

Kept the CLI on SDK 949a5c9. The requested 9e175fd3 revision is its ancestor and predates the unified Client merge. At 949a5c9, operations and QuickLink settings return already-unwrapped ApiResponse<T> values, and project-scoped settings are exposed through client.project(projectId).quickLinkSettings; changing to widgetSettings or extracting another data envelope would break the pinned contract.

Validation: lint, typecheck, 19 focused BanSafe command tests, build, and diff check passed against the exact lockfile.

SDK pin moved to 07b6a8a, the merge of polymorfa/sdks#8 on SDK dev. npm run verify passes (280 tests). It is not pinned to the current SDK dev head (8803f05) because that head also contains polymorfa/sdks#12, which removes the Customer phone and QuickLink allowedRedirectUris fields this branch still reads. #4 removes those reads. Merge #4 first, then move this pin to the SDK dev head.

Replays the net BanSafe CLI change from codex/bansafe-health (previous
head 206260e) onto dev 2dea634. Conflicted unified-client adaptations keep
dev's versions; @polymorfa/sdk is pinned to polymorfa/sdks@289c921.
The API at 1600403 returns claim measured, cap, and amount values as
decimal credit quantities. Text output now labels them as credits, the
Health policy fixture drops a field the contract does not define, and the
integration note records the reconciled SDK and API pins.

Rebased onto dev after #4 merged. The SDK pin is now dev's 8803f05, recorded in the integration doc. npm run verify passes (283 tests).
