Accept project tokens for Hybrid Link controls
When a private-preview user authenticates with POLYMORFA_PROJECT_TOKEN or a project-token profile, this command fails before making a request: messagingClient uses resolveCommandEnvironment, which does not resolve environment project tokens and explicitly rejects project-token profiles, while serverApiKeyOnly accepts only apiKey. The same wiring affects pause/resume, routing-policy get/set, message operation-status, and supplementary QuickLink creation, so project tokens documented as supported cannot use most of the new feature; these commands should resolve durable project credentials and reject only browser client tokens where appropriate.

Report connection readiness in state output
In the default human-readable mode, two Numbers with the same revision and pause flag produce identical output even when their connections readiness differs. This prevents hybrid-link state from fulfilling its advertised readiness check unless the operator knows to add --json; include the returned connection/readiness information in the human summary.

Honor directory links when validating project-token profiles
When a project-token profile bound to project A is used from a directory linked to project B without an explicit --project, this path passes no project context to resolveCommandEnvironment, so its mismatch check is skipped. The newly supported Hybrid mutations then operate with project A's token instead of failing as the documented project-context safety rule promises; resolve the linked project here, as developerSession and quickLinksClient do, before accepting the profile.

Resolve policy scope from the active project context
For project and session policies, this unconditionally requires --project, so the new commands fail before making a request when the project is supplied by the nearest polymorfa.json or the selected profile. That breaks the CLI's documented --project → directory link → profile precedence and also bypasses normal slug-to-UUID canonicalization; build the scope from the resolved project context rather than directly from the raw flag.

Include existing QuickLink availability details in human output
When the API returns existing connections or a non-null resumeQuickLinkId—notably when allowed is false because setup is already pending—the default output discards both and only says that no connection is available. This prevents the command from fulfilling its advertised connection inspection and hides the QuickLink the operator can resume unless they know to use --json; include those returned fields in the human summary.

Avoid reading project links for API-key session controls
When any of the new hybrid-link commands or message operation-status runs with an environment/API-key profile beneath a malformed or unreadable polymorfa.json, serverCredentialOnly enables this unconditional link lookup, so findProjectLink throws before the credential is resolved or a request is sent. Unlike project-token profiles, API keys need no directory mismatch validation for these session-addressed endpoints, and the resolved link is otherwise unused; the team-policy callers opt out, but these four new callers still fail for an unrelated local file. Restrict link loading to credentials for which the project-token profile check is actually needed.

🔒 Security & Privacy | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Stop retaining checkout credentials during SDK scripts.
actions/checkout@v6 persists credentials by default, including for this companion checkout. The following SDK install and build steps execute package scripts while those credentials remain available through Git configuration. Set persist-credentials: false on both checkouts if later steps do not need authenticated Git commands. Checkout v6 stores persisted credentials under $RUNNER_TEMP; it does not remove their availability to subsequent Git commands. (github.com)

Make CI validate the checked-in SDK dependency.
This install replaces the locked @polymorfa/sdk only in CI. The PR objectives report that a clean install from the checked-in manifest fails to build. CI can therefore pass while a release build fails. Pin a compatible published SDK in package.json and package-lock.json, then verify that dependency with npm ci. Keep the packed-source check separate if it is still needed.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
The project-token profile error names "Platform" for Messaging commands too.
This branch runs when allowProjectToken is not true and the profile holds a project token. It runs for both the platform and messaging surfaces. A Messaging command that does not opt into project tokens can reach it. That happens when messagingClient is called without serverCredentialOnly or serverApiKeyOnly. The user then sees "this Platform command requires an organization API key" for a Messaging command, which is wrong. Choose the text from input.surface.

Wire project tokens into raw Messaging requests
When a user follows this new documentation and runs api --surface messaging with only POLYMORFA_PROJECT_TOKEN (or a project-token profile), the command still calls resolveCommandEnvironment without allowProjectToken, so the environment token is ignored and the profile is rejected before any request is made; with another environment credential present, the documented ambiguity check also ignores the project token. Enable project-token resolution for the raw Messaging surface or remove this advertised support.

Validate raw project-token profiles against project context
When api --surface messaging selects a project-token profile, this enables the credential but passes neither flags.project nor a linked-project loader to resolveCommandEnvironment. Consequently, running a raw mutation with --project set to another project, or from a directory linked to another project, skips the documented mismatch check and sends the request using the profile's token; forward the explicit and linked project context before accepting project-token profiles.

Resolve project tokens for transport-selected sends
When --transport is used with POLYMORFA_PROJECT_TOKEN or a project-token profile, this request never reaches the API because the unchanged messagingClient(flags) call does not enable project-token resolution. The same default-client path is used by the other send variants, reactions, edits, and deletions, so the documented server credential cannot perform any of the newly exposed Hybrid-routed message operations; these paths should accept server project credentials while rejecting browser client tokens for Hybrid transport selection.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
Summary
Adds Hybrid Link QuickLink setup, per-send transport selection, routing-policy and pause controls, and operation-status recovery for one Number with two transports. Unknown send outcomes show the operation ID and advise against a new key or transport retry. Explicit selection never falls back, and policy writes require the returned revision.
