Summary

Publish frozen authored candidate b20fe230c8fc5d0ed41dfc439cdc0a6890348ae2 with its original parent and author. It adds a confirmed campaign test-send command, request/response handling, help and command assertions. The retained command path is absent from accepted CLI 044f; no source reconciliation was attempted.

Verification

No new tests or review in this publication sweep. Historical assertions are preserved, without claiming current API policy, numeric limits, types, generated reference/browser checks or installed/environment acceptance. The frozen README's retry, reconciliation and numeric-policy wording must be revalidated against current authority before integration.

Release status

Keep draft; Release owns merges. API producer/policy and accepted SDK package compatibility remain open. CLI and README source are represented here. Docs/reference adoption, real sending authority, package publication and feature/environment acceptance are held. Admin controls are unchanged. No provider send, activation or staging deployment was performed.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added a campaign test-send command to send a real message from a draft to a team-connected seed number, with explicit confirmation and an idempotency key.
    • The command displays the recipient, sender phone number, and send ID. Test sends are limited to 20 per team and 5 per seed number per rolling hour.
  • Documentation
    • Added command usage, required input details, and guidance for checking uncertain outcomes after a timeout.

Walkthrough

The PR adds campaign test-send for draft campaigns. The command validates required input, requires explicit confirmation and an idempotency key, calls the campaign test-send SDK operation, and displays the receipt. The README documents the input fields, send limits, and recovery steps for uncertain outcomes.

In this state, the CLI cannot be installed or built: the SDK version it depends on does not yet provide the campaign test-send types or method. Before merging, align the SDK dependency and lockfile with a release that includes test-send. The command also accepts badly formatted phone numbers and malformed variables without checking them locally; add that validation.

Critical · Functional Correctness · Heavy lift

Use an SDK that exposes the test-send contract.

The declared @polymorfa/sdk version lacks both imported types and MessagingCampaignsResource.testSend. CI reports TS2305 and TS2339 during npm ci’s prepare build. This blocks installation and building of the CLI. Align the SDK dependency and lockfile with an available implementation before publishing this command. (github.com)

Minor · Data Integrity & Integration · Quick win

Validate the request before casting it.

The JSON input can contain to: "not-a-phone" or variables: 42. Both values pass this function and reach client.campaigns.testSend, although the README requires an E.164 to value and the command treats variables as request data. Validate the optional fields and phone format before making the request. The as CampaignTestSendRequest assertion does not check either value. (github.com)

Based on learnings, external input needs runtime validation; a TypeScript assertion does not provide it.
