Homebrew is macOS and Linux only, so the install instructions were silent about Windows. There is now a Scoop bucket, which needs no administrator rights, and the guides say plainly that the archives are plain binaries rather than installers. Also records why there is no Chocolatey package and no winget manifest.

The install sections only mentioned Homebrew, which does not run on Windows, leaving Windows users with "download a zip and figure it out".
Adds the Scoop route:
The bucket lives in
sadgoodman/scoop-bucketand self-updates from the releases exactly like the Homebrew tap, so it needs no token either. Both architectures are covered, and the manifest validates against the official Scoop schema in CI.Also states the obvious but useful things: the archives are plain binaries rather than installers, there is nothing to uninstall, and Windows Firewall asks about binding to
0.0.0.0the first time. And a note on why there is no Chocolatey package or winget manifest.While here, fixes three reference-style links (
[rel],[tap],[scoop]) in both guides that had no definition and would have rendered literally.
