Research findings

• Fresh targeted sources cover HN, OpenAI Developer Community, Steam for Linux, Steam Community, and GitHub projects. Reports are dated and separated from interpretation; 403 and accessibility-coverage gaps are explicit.

Selected work

Gate #29 selected issue #27 after auditing integrated main 62e8b95:

• The core README calls hub.createController, but ControllerHub exposes add.
• Existing tests cover two dry-run controllers and independent state, but not duplicate logical IDs or adding an ID again after disconnectAll.
• The selected slice corrects the documented method and tests the caller-owned logical-ID lifecycle. It does not add physical-device discovery or claim host/browser slot recovery.

Issue #26 (real-browser hardware routing) and #28 (SDK-boundary latency) are deferred outside the active milestone. Issue #27 now blocks gate #29 until its implementation, review, checks, and merge are complete.

Validation

• git diff --check — passed.
• This PR changes roadmap documentation and records the gate decision; implementation checks will run on the selected code PR.

1. Cycle 4 implementation PR feat(agent-fighter): seed local policy decisions #25 and roadmap closeout PR docs: close Cycle 4 and open Cycle 5 research gate #30 are merged to main.
